BCA StarWalkathon 2026

BCA Star Walkathon 2026: A Grand Success!

The BCA Star Walkathon 2026 concluded on March 14 at Peak Garden Road. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the event brought together over one hundred walkers for a day of joy and charity.

Tenth Anniversary Special: Team Power for Charity

This year's event added a "Team Participation Awards" slot, which received an enthusiastic response, with 95 group members participating. They took photos with the “StarWalkers” and participated in the "Best Participation Awards" which further enhanced the lively atmosphere of the event. 

A Sacred Beginning: Inheriting the Spirit of Bosco

The event was opened by Mr. Thomas Yeung, Chairman of the Bosco Charitable Association, who delivered a welcome speech. Father Savio Yeung SDB then led a prayer, blessing all participants and the association's work. With the priests' blessings, participants successfully completed the journey.

Support from All Sectors: Gratitude to the Salesian Family

We would like to thank all distinguished guests who have supported the event, including but not limited to:

-Honored guests from the Salesian Society: Father Joseph Ng SDB, Father Savio Yeung SDB, Father Pedro Leong SDB, Father Paul Leung SDB and Father Poon SDB.

-Salesian School Principals:  Ms. Wong Ka Ming of Hong Kong Tang King Po Colleague, Mr. Wong Wai Kin of the Salesian Yip Hon Millennium Primary School, Mr. Li Kin Man of Salesians Of Don Bosco Ng Siu Mui Secondary School and Mr. Ma Ka Kin of St. Anthony's School also attended our event.

-The President, Vice Presidents, members and their families of the Don Bosco Charitable Association.

-Teams from Youth Centres sponsored by Don Bosco Charitable Association, including: Aberdeen Technical School Boarding Section, Don Bosco Learning Centre, Don Bosco Youth Centre – St. Louis Centre, Don Bosco Youth Centre (SYHMPS), Here All Share and Salesian Cooperators (China Province).

We are grateful that the event successfully achieved its goals and raised more than HK$410,000 for Bosco Charity Association. It fully demonstrated the power of cooperation between participants and supporters.
