Bosco Charity Association Charity Raffle Draw 2022

The annual Bosco Charity Association Charity Raffle Draw 2022 was successfully completed on 21^st July 2022. A total of 30 lucky numbers were drawn and the total value of HK$52,911 of prizes were won by 30 lucky winners. This year we have sold all 35,000 available tickets achieving a satisfactory rate of 100% sold. We highly appreciate the support of BCA members and friends, Salesian Group of Schools, alumni, Parishes and Salesian Cooperators for distributing the raffle tickets during the 55-day selling period. A total of 10 primary and secondary schools participated this year, which is more than the seven participating schools last year. The number of raffle tickets sold by Parishes and Salesian Cooperators’ centres had increased by 40% compared with last year. We sincerely thank everyone who supported this event.

All proceeds of HK$323,285.20 (after deducted the costs) will be donated to sponsor youth development activities of the yourth centres and schools under the auspices of the Salesians of Don Bosco and Salesian Co-operators..

Draw results will be publicized on 28 July 2022 in the Standard and Sing Tao Daily and Bosco Charity Association Limited website. Winners should collect prizes from Bosco Charity Association Limited office at 5/F, Chung Nam House, 59 Des Voeux Road Central, Central, Hong Kong on any working days (Mon-Fri:9:00am-1:00pm & 2:00-6:00pm) on or before 29 Aug 2022 on production of the winning ticket(s). Winners are required to call Miss Fok at 2856 0038 to register in advance for collection of prizes. All prizes are non-cashable and non-refundable. If a winner does not collect his/her prize within the time prescribed hereinabove, he/ she shall be deemed to waive his/ her right to the prize. Bosco Charity Association Limited may dispose of the relevant prize as it thinks fit. In case of any dispute, decision of Bosco Charity Association Limited shall be final and conclusive.

BCA StarWalkathon 2022

BCA StarWalkathon 2022, the 6th Annual BCA StarWalkathon was successfully held on the 18^th June, 2022, Saturday, at Happy Valley Racecourse. 80 members, guests and family members participated the event on that day and everyone completed the walk happily in groups of 4. In order to keep social distancing, the opening ceremony was changed to a pre-recorded video clips and audio, which were sent to participants' mobile phones. We would like to thank the Rev. Fr. Joseph Ng SDB who was at Turin, Italy at the time for recording the opening speech for us, Chairman Thomas Yeung also pre-recorded his welcoming speech, and Father Simon Lam for leading a prayer for the walk

Thank you to the guests who participated in the Salesian Society: Rev. Fr. Simon Lam, Rev. Fr. Pedro Leong, Rev. Fr. Yang Zuluo, Rev. Fr. Matthew Chan, and Rev. Fr. The fundraising event on the day raised nearly 500,000 Hong Kong dollars to the "Bosco Charity Association".
